My name is Andrii Velychko, and I founded the Besarabian Spices project in 2021. It was started long before that with gastronomic and research trips to Besarabia, getting to know the keepers of the traditions of the native land, with joint harvests, wine tastings and cooking of iconic Besarabian dishes. And from each such trip, I brought back spices, products and specialties that are specific to Besarabia - the south of Ukraine. Of course, I gave spices to all my friends, because it is a real treasure. And it was their enthusiastic feedback that prompted me to create this project. Thanks to us, everyone can now get unique spices anywhere in Ukraine and the world. This is how Besarabian spices were born.

   Our goal is popularisation and promote the traditional spices of Danube Besarabia, as well as to preserve production traditions and support the people who still produce the best local spices. These honest goals became the basis of our philosophy - we cooperate with true fans of traditions, with people who never compromise on quality. We produce some types of spices ourselves, and we are sure that our product is a product for which there is absolutely no shame.
